There's a lack of infrastructure to the proposed  site, it's all extremely expensive, and there are growing anxieties among Hongkongers about their  ever-blurring border with the Chinese mainland.

I'm glad we helped the Ukrainians, I'm glad we have so many Hongkongers, I'm glad there are people working in the NHS, I'm glad there are people picking fruit, I'm glad there are people working in social care.
