As it is written: " God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you" . [ Isaiah 52:5 (see Septuagint); Ezek. 36:20,22 ]

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: " He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases" . [ Isaiah 53: 4 (see Septuagint) ]

And again, Isaiah says, " The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; in him the Gentiles will hope" . [ Isaiah 11: 10 (see Septuagint) ]

又有以赛亚说：" 将来有耶西的根，就是那兴起来要治理外邦的，外邦人要仰望他。"
