The method of auscultation and olfaction means listening to the voice (including speaking, respiration, coughing, vomiting, hiccup, belching, sighing, sneezing and borborygmus) and smelling the odors emitted from the patient as well as the secreta and excreta.

闻诊指听声音（包括语言、呼吸、咳嗽、呕吐、呃逆、嗳气、太息、喷嚏、肠鸣等）和嗅患者体内所发出的各种气味，以及分泌物和排泄物的气味。
