I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens. What a heavy burden God has laid on mankind!

我专心用智慧寻求查究天下所作的一切事，乃知　神叫世人所经练的是极重的劳苦。

All this I saw, as I applied my mind to everything done under the sun. There is a time when a man lords it over others to his own [ Or to their ] hurt.

这一切我都见过，也专心查考日光之下所作的一切事。有时这人管辖那人，令人受害。
